Exclusive Charm right in the City Centre

Living in the Airport Loft

Utilising the 1.2 meter wide sofa bed on its first floor, the partitioned room can sleep up to 3 people. Both the roof-top terrace and the “Permaculture” garden at the front of the Loft can be used in a variety of ways. Sound and Design is our Passion. High-quality, top-class speaker system (streaming, wireless, WLAN, lossless, Spotify, via app).

The Bathroom

The owner himself designed the elaborate patterning for Moroccan craftsmen to create a unique wall-tiling. The sandstone washbasin and stainless steel faucet are by Boffi. The glazed shower cubicle has a slatted wooden flooring. The “Satellite” mirror, with its integrated lighting and cosmetic mirror, was designed by Eileen Gray in 1927. Bamboo parquet flooring, as throughout the entire Loft.

Design and Art

With its multitude of objects by artists and architects, including Bahk Jong Sun, Roy McMakin, Sam Baron, Liam Gillick and Antonio Gaudi, the Loft provides a veritable and extraordinary “Designer Hideaway”.

The Kitchen

The highly convenient “Miniki” comprises a dishwasher, hob and oven – fitted with an extended duration auto-timer. Eight complete place settings of porcelain and cutlery are available.

The Loft’s terrace is decorated with a crop circle mosaic set in the facade, two bronze statues by Raoul Larche and Robert Delandre, as well as a large copper bowl, strewn with coloured glass beads, by WOLF WERK. Hidden from view, the terrace facilitates a broad range of uses.

Comprised of fruit trees and berry bushes, piles of dead wood, gabions and a pond, this “Permaculture” garden provides a wonderful natural habitat for all manner of small creatures and insects … right in the city centre.
